The death of Ted Pillsbury, former artistic director of the Kimbell Art Museum, was a suicide — according to the News story by Karel Holloway. Family members confirmed a Kaufman County sheriff department’s report which described last month’s incident as a suicide. But the department would not release details until the autopsy.

Pillsbury, 66, was found March 25 on a rural road about 50 miles east of Dallas.
