The University of North Texas Multicultural Center inside the University Union is planning to install a new mural. And the powers that be over there are putting the call out to local artists to submit proposals. According to an e-mail from the center, “The mural should reflect the mission and positive influences of the Multicultural Center, specifically including the aspects of diversity, inclusion, equity and access.”

Proposals need to be postmarked by March 19, and if you win, the mural needs to be ready for installation by Aug. 1.

  • Hello, my style is very abstract and urban. I did 2 murals at the extinted Deep Ellum tunnel and most of my Dallas work has been in the Deep Ellum area. I’ve also done a few murals in New York, Korea and Mexico. I always try to communicate positive messages (with my work) along with a pleasant abstract touch. My website is actually a couple of years old, so please let me know if you’re interested in seeing some of my newer works. Thank you very much and have a good day.
