39 DIVIDED BY 4: Dallas Summer Musicals brings Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps to the Majestic Theatre tonight through Sunday. The stage version of the murder mystery is based on one of Hitchcock’s earliest films, made before he headed off to Hollywood for good. The play’s director, Maria Aitken, explains to dallasnews.com how she staged the show with four actors playing more than 150 characters.
