The numbers are in:  Art Conspiracy 5 raised $20,000 for Resolana, thanks to around 2,200 of you who turned out for the event.

I spent the morning going through many of the pictures that folks made that night for the Art&Seek Con Artist Gallery.  And now, it’s time to thank all the folks who helped us create our little corner of the event.  Greg Metz and his students Frank Tringali and Perry Merrity hauled in materials and created a photo booth for us in record time.  Sean Fitzgerald lent us a computer and helped us project our gallery sign on the wall. Julia Schloss helped us set up our tables – and calmed us down a bit.  And special thanks to David Herman and Lakeem, from Preservation Link, who assisted Ivey Suber with this video:

Is it too early to start thinking about ArtCon 6?

  • thanks so much for your partnership with us this year. It was the best Art Con yet, I think. Wonderful music; great beer selection, and the artists, auctioneers, and bidders all out did themselves. We had outstanding volunteer coordinators, artistic coordinators, and just the best bunch of volunteers you could ever have.

Thank you art & seek for your support and coverage of local art events. This event is an amazing example of the true creativeness of the Dallas art community young and old.
    See you next year.

I had so much fun this year. Art Con really can make a difference and seeing that this is happening in our own community really just goes to show that there our a lot of generous and caring people here. Thanks Ange! you made this whole thing possible… and you have truly changed lives!
