Congratulations to SMU associate professor Andrés Díaz, whose Bach Cello Suites has been nominated for a best classical album Latin Grammy. Congratulations to SMU associate professor Andrés Díaz, whose Bach Cello Suites has been nominated for a best classical album Latin Grammy. The album has all sorts of strong Dallas ties, as it was produced by former Dallas resident Alan Bise for Azica Records.

The Latin Grammy Awards will be broadcast Nov. 5  on Univision at 7 p.m.
