Schedule for Sunday’s Final Day at the Cliburn

Here is Sunday’s schedule for the finals of the 13th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Concerto performances will be with conductor James Conlon and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Here is Sunday’s schedule for the finals of the 13th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Concerto performances will be with conductor James Conlon and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. All performances are in Bass Hall, Fourth and Commerce in downtown Fort Worth.

Matinee Session

1:30 p.m.: Nobuyuki Tsujii of Japan will play Beethoven’s Appassionata Sonata, Chopin’s Berceuse, Opus 57, and Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2.

2:45 p.m.:  Haochen Zhang of China will play Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 2.

3:45 p.m.: Di Wu of China will play Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3.

Awards Ceremony

The competition will conclude with a ceremony announcing the final results and a number of awards. This will be in Bass Hall starting about 5 p.m.
