The Dallas Center for the Performing Arts announced the lineup for its first Lexus Broadway Series:

The Lincoln Center production of South Pacific Dec. 15 – Jan. 03

August: Osage County Jan. 12-Jan. 24, 2010

Spring Awakening: March 23-April 4, 2010

Avenue Q May 25-June 6, 2010

Tickets are expected to go on sale today.

Each of the Lexus Broadway Series’ three musical productions has won a Tony Award for best musical. August won the best play Tony. All four are making Dallas premieres. (Casa Manana staged Avenue Q in Fort Worth last year. South Pacific is a classic, of course, but this will be the first staging of Lincoln Center’s production, which won 7 Tonys last year.)

The Center’s Broadway series will take place in the 2,300-seat Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, designed by Foster + Partners.
