Way back in the fall of 2008, we started the Flickr Photo of the Week contest. Readers began to submit their photos to our Flickr pool, and before you knew it, we were displaying photos from some of the best shooters in North Texas. While approving some photos today, I noticed this stunning photo from Shawn O’Connell (“stunning” should be Shawn’s middle name at this point). Not only is it a beautiful photo; it’s also the 1,000th photo submitted to the pool. Congratulations to the many talented photographers who have won our contest over the past few months, and thanks to everyone who has submitted their work. Keep it coming.
