The Reader has been receiving some critical “huzzahs,” mostly for Kate Winslet’s performance (she picked up a supporting actress nomination from the Golden Globes on Thursday). The film comes to North Texas on Dec. 25, but Art&Seek has got the hookup for you.

We’re giving away five passes for you and a friend to see the movie at a special sneak preview on Tuesday, Dec. 16. The screening is at 7:30 p.m. at the Magnolia Theatre in Dallas. But, of course, there’s a catch. You have to correctly e-mail me the answer to the following trivia question:

“Twice in the history of the Academy Awards, a pair of actresses have both been nominated for playing the same role in the same film. Each time, Kate Winslet played the character as a young woman. Name the two films and the two actresses who played the same roles as older women.”

The first five people who e-mail me ([email protected]) with the correct answer will win the passes, which I will e-mail to you.

Good luck — this is a tough one. (Unless, of course, you go snooping on the Internet.)
