It’s Gregg Barrios’ drama about the short, tempestous relationship between Tennessee Williams and his lover, Pancho Rodriguez, a Mexican American from Crystal City, Texas. Rodgriguez. Barrious argues, was one of the inspirations for Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire. “Pancho Rancho” was Williams’ name for the Provincetown house that Rodriguez and he shared with Carson McCullers in 1946.
