This afternoon, the aesthetically pleasing new Art&Seek billboard went up outside KERA World HQ, and we snapped some photos to chronicle the event. Enjoy:

First, they took down the rather faded KERA billboard that had been up for several years …

And then the new one was unfurled for the world to see …

It took three workers all of 20 minutes to change them out; I can’t imagine how many times these guys have to climb up and do this around town every day.

Anyway, swing by and check it out if you’re in the Uptown area. I realize it’s just one of many billboards dotting the NoTex landscape, but in our non-profit public broadcasting world it’s not something that happens all that often.
